Lanikai Homes is a luxury design and renovation firm led personally by James and Jazzie Jenkins, based in Kailua, Hawaii. Our work spans whole-home renovations, custom residential builds, and major commercial projects — from private waterfront estates across Windward Oahu to multi-year institutional renovations at Mid-Pacific Country Club.
We take on a select number of projects at a time. That's how we protect the quality our clients come to us for — and how we're able to be personally involved in every project, every phase. JAMES JENKINS
OWNER
James leads Lanikai Homes as principal, managing client relationships, project strategy, and operational leadership across every engagement. A graduate of The Citadel with a business degree, he's also a USMC veteran and a licensed Hawaii realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, bringing a rare combination of real estate insight, business discipline, and client-first focus to every project.
JAZZIE JENKINS
FOUNDER | LEAD DESIGNER
Jazzie is the design vision behind Lanikai Homes. Originally trained as an engineer for NASA before finding her calling in residential design, she founded what would become Lanikai Homes over 15 years ago and has shaped every project since. Her work is rooted in coastal modern sensibility but never repeats itself — every home gets its own story, its own palette, its own quiet design precision.
