Lanikai Homes is a luxury interior design studio led personally by James and Jazzie Jenkins, based in Kailua, Hawaii. We design whole-home transformations, custom residential interiors, and major commercial spaces, from private waterfront estates across Windward Oahu to multi-year institutional projects. We lead the design and project management from first concept to final styling, while the build is delivered by the independent licensed contractors we partner with.
We take on a select number of projects at a time. That's how we protect the quality our clients come to us for — and how we're able to be personally involved in every project, every phase. We bring design vision and project coordination, working alongside the independent licensed architects and contractors who handle construction and permitting, so your design intent carries all the way through. JAMES JENKINS
OWNER
James leads Lanikai Homes as principal, managing client relationships, project strategy, and operational leadership across every engagement. A graduate of The Citadel with a business degree, he's also a USMC veteran and a licensed Hawaii realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, bringing a rare combination of real estate insight, business discipline, and client-first focus to every project.
JAZZIE JENKINS
FOUNDER | LEAD DESIGNER
Jazzie is the design vision behind Lanikai Homes. Originally trained as an engineer for NASA before finding her calling in residential design, she founded what would become Lanikai Homes over 15 years ago and has shaped every project since. Her work is rooted in coastal modern sensibility but never repeats itself — every home gets its own story, its own palette, its own quiet design precision.
